Welcome to Balinese Traditional Massage as taught by Jero Tapakan. Traditional Balinese Massage is an ancient healing tradition from the island of Bali, Indonesia. Kirstie Segarra, MA, LMT, RMTI, ERYT has over 18 years of experience in Balinese Massage. She is currently completing her Doctorate in Integrative Medicine.

Kirstie Segarra, MA, LMT, RMTI, ERYT has dedicated her practice to the conservation of Balinese Traditional Massage. She is a full time faculty at the University of New Mexico-Taos where she started the Integrative Massage Therapy Program and co-designed the Yoga Teacher Training Program.

She has developed and taught Myofascial Yoga™ and is currently developing a system of integrative health and systems theory in Fascial Health™. See The Monkey Institute for upcoming Continuing Education courses.

Kirstie is also President of Santosha Yoga a New Mexico Non-Profit where she teaches Myofascial Yoga™ weekly for seva (service to the community).

In conjunction with University of New Mexico-Taos she teaches continuing education in Balinese Traditional Massage.

Kirstie developed a DVD instructional workshop as well which is available for a $25 donation to a college fund that supports Women in Bali for seva. See DVD link above.

The Monkey Institute is where we offer continuing education workshops for massage therapists and yoga instructors.

Kirstie is excited to announce her new book released last August 2013. This is an instruction guide for movement and yoga therapists in Myofascial Yoga.
